Outa-space is the website of Rob MacDonald and his collaborators – Including educational and creative workshops, presentations, exhibitions, The podcast Outa-space, project manager of Solidarity Park and Periphery is the Centre and other on going projects.
Rob MacDonald is an multidisciplinary artist, educator, arts director and stone worker. His work focuses on international and local community participation projects that combine Art, Education and History to create a better understanding of complex social issues. He uses unique teaching practices with practical workshops as a tool to stimulate social consciousness and action.
He has worked extensively in Sweden, Spain and the UK.
He was the designer, creator and co-founder of the Solidarity park project and monument. He is presently working on 4 connected projects in the UK in Wales, Hull, Sunderland and Surrey.
